اختبار كميه الرمل داخل الطفله-Sand Content In Drilling Mud Test Procedure
Sand Content Kit
A beach content tackle is used for measuring the beach content in water- grounded drilling slush or oil painting- grounded drilling slush, comprising a 200- mesh sieve, a plastic channel, and a graduated glass tube that's calibrated to measure the beach content as a chance. The 200- mesh sieve is designed to trap patches that are larger than 74 microns, which is important coarser than barite patches. still, the sieve will also trap other coarse patches(e.g. coarse Calcium Carbonate LCM patches), which could distort results if ignored. Every trouble must be made to keep beach content as low as possible because it's extremely abrasive and can damage slush pumps and tubular, as well as beget an undesirable increase in slush viscosity.Testing Procedure For Sand Content
The following procedure is used for measuring beach content by its preliminarily bandied tackle1. Fill the graduated glass tube with a sample of slush to the line marked, “ slush to Then ”.
2. Fill the rest of the graduated glass tube with clean water to the line marked, “ Water to Then ”.
3. Place a thumb over the mouth of the glass tube and shake roundly.
4. Pour the contents of the graduated glass tube onto the 200- mesh sieve, tapping the side of the sieve to ameliorate inflow and discarding everything that passes through the screen.
5. Refill the graduated glass tube with clean water and repeat the process until all residual solids have been removed from the glass tube.
6. Wash the beach patches trapped in the sieve under running water, gently rubbing the beach patches with the tip of a cutlet to break up and flush down any complexion patches.
7. Place the channel over the sieve and also place the tip of the channel in the mouth of the clean, empty graduated glass tube.
8. Use gentle handling water on the rear side of the sieve to flush all the beach patches into the graduated glass tube withoutover-filling.
9. Allow time for the beach to settle at the bottom of the graduated glass tube and record the beach content as a chance of the slush volume; along with the slush slice position(e.g. inflow line, active tank,etc.).
10. Wash the factors of the beach content tackle and leave to drain.
The graduated glass tube may contain other coarse solids, similar as LCM and Calcium Carbonate, but these should be easy to identify because the heavier beach will settlefirst. However, also the water should be poured down without disturbing the “ beach ”, and acid should be added to dissolve the Calcium Carbonate, If the “ beach ” at the bottom of the graduated glass tube contains a significant quantum of Calcium Carbonate. The real beach content( by volume) can also be recorded.
